Training is widely accepted
as one of most effective methods of improving employee morale, building employee loyalty, and developing skills that enhance
quality of work, productivity and for having a positive effect on the bottom line. At
the CPDS, we understand that advances in learning theory have provided insights into how adults learn and how diversity training
can be organized most effectively for them. Our services include:
Planning & Program
Development
Depending
on the size, goals, and nature of your organization, we will help you identify and assess training needs within your organization,
develop a Diversity Mission Statement, and help develop a strategic plan necessary to align your diversity initiative to your
strategic plan. We will also help you develop a means to measure and/or evaluate
the effectiveness of your diversity training program.
Corporate Training
We will plan, organize
and direct a wide variety of training activities necessary to respond to corporate and employee services requests. During our initial consultation, we will consult with onsite supervisors to determine
workplace management issues, speak with rank-and-file employees to ensure buy-in, and develop training that helps supervisors
improve their cross-cultural communication skills in order to deal more effectively with employees. At the same time, rank-and-file employees will receive training necessary to improve their job skills and
possibly ready themselves for jobs that require greater skills.
Manager Training
We will provide training
either in the classroom or onsite. This includes developing teaching materials,
setting up materials prior to classes and/or workshops, engaging participants in a participatory process, and issuing completion
certificates at the end of the training.
